From the shop of Doug Kelley
This is the latest work of model engine builder Doug Kelley. It is a single cylinder engine with two pistons in the same bore. The crowns of the pistons face each other and the space between forms the combustion chamber. This design was pioneered by the Germans but Doug added his own touch by connecting the twin crankshafts together with a side shaft. On this side shaft he mounted the exhaust valve cam.
